Ohio Women’s Hall of Fame

In 1992 a permanent exhibit was installed at its current location in downtown Columbus featuring the names and accomplishments of over 300 inductees. There are also regional displays featuring local members at 7 other locations around the State. Friends of the OWHOF provide financial support for these and other educational programs to increase public awareness of the project. The Department also sponsors an annual Women Making History Essay contest.
