The Pacific Museum was founded in 1979 as the Pacific History of
Cosmetics Museum, the first of its kind in the world and this was
developed later into a traveling exhibition “The Beauty of
Korean Women – 5000 years” during 1994. The museum also
has a major pioneering Tea Culture exhibit and is developing two
further installations, one devoted to tableware and another on women’s
culture.
